Flower Field Nail Tutorial

My first tutorial on this blog will be for some flower field nails with dried pressed flowers. It is relatively simple to make with the right materials.

Step 1: Materials

My colours:
Avon "Vintage Blue"
OPI "Uh-Oh Roll Down the Window"
H&M "I'm Not a Kiwi"
Plus a good base and top coat
Materials:
Small dried pressed flowers. I got mine here.
Tools:
Thin paint brush
Scissors to cut stems from flowers
Toothpick to pick up and apply flowers
Something to put your polish on (I used a yogurt lid)

Step 2: Base colour

After a base coat, paint your nails with your sky blue polish

Step 3: Grass

Start by using your darker green to paint grass blades.
Do this by swiping your brush from the base of your nail upwards.
Next add your lighter green over top in the same fashion.
On your polish surface, blend your two greens and use this colour to fill in or touch up anything that looks off.
Don't worry if it's lumpy, the top coat will smooth it all out.

Step 4: Flowers

I do this step because I don't like to add a lot of layers, but you could just put down a top coat over the whole nail and stick the flowers in that way.
I used a top coat to make little dots where I wanted my flowers.

Next use your toothpick (with a touch of top coat on the end) to pick up and place your flowers.
Just add a top coat and your nails are complete!

Finish!

Thanks for reading! Hope you like this tutorial. Please post yours! :)
